This page relates ‘Conclusion (Agamas and Kashyapa Shilpashastra)� of the study on the Kashyapa Shilpa-shastra (in English) with special reference to the characteristics of Prakara (temple-components), Mandapa (pavilions) and Gopura (gate-house). The Silpa-Sastras refers to the ancient Indian science of arts and crafts, such as sculpture, architecture and iconography. This study demonstrates the correlatation between ancient Indian monuments (such as temples and sculptures) and the variety of Sanskrit scriptures dealing with their construction.

4. Conclusion (Ā and śⲹ貹 Ś貹śٰ)
While going through the text of śⲹ貹 Ś貹śٰ, it was noted that right from the very chapterisation of the text, it has followed the genre of the Ā and in particular the 峾岵.
In the previous chapters of this thesis, for clarification of idea and for showing the similarities between the Ā and śⲹ貹 Ś貹śٰ, verses from 峾岵[1] and ᾱ岵 have been cited in many instances. Therefore, this similarity between the 岵 and this text śⲹ貹 Ś貹śٰ leads one to consider the śⲹ貹 Ś貹śٰ as the architectural part of the Aṃśumat āgama.
