Upacaras are the services, which is accorded to the deity. the list of upacaras
varies from a modest five known as the Pancopacara, which was slowly
upgraded to sixteen known as Sodasaupacara and finally the more elaborate
and complex sixty four services popularly known as Chatussastiupacara.
Pancopacara puja.
The following services traditionally are offered in Pancopacara puja -
Gandham, Puspam, Dhupam, Deepam, Amrutam or Water.
