Worship & worshipper Conclusion- 396 The various accessories act as supplements to the worship process.
Nevertheless their importance should not be undermined. Offering
Manāsapūjā is not every man's cup of tea. And in fact there are more slips
between the lip and the cup; the cup of infinite happiness, of total identity
and absorption with the deity - the goddess. Even the goddess who is
referred to as the Sādhyā too comes under the domain of accessories which
are employed to invoke and establish her. Therefore it can be said that a
ritual without accessories is unperceivable and incomprehensible. The
procedure, the ingredients and the process together with the concerned
subject and object have all necessitated the section 'Worship and
Worshipper' in the thesis.
