Story of ś峾
General.
A son of ś. The city he built was called ś峾ī. (See under ś).
Other information.
(i) ś峾 had a daughter called Cārvaṅgī, who was married by śṇy, the solar King. (ṇḍ ʳܰṇa, Chapter 2).
(ii) Two sons, Ś and were born to ś峾 and to was born a daughter, ٲⲹī. վś峾ٰ was ’s son. (ṇḍ ʳܰṇa, Chapter 57).
This statement is not quite correct. Certain other ʳܰṇas maintain that , the father of վś峾ٰ was the son of śnābha, who was the son of ś첹 and brother of ś峾. (See under śnābha).
