Commentary
[Those who follow the schools of 膧辫颈艣补濒颈 and 碍腻艣补办峁泃蝉苍补 have no 蝉奴迟谤补 corresponding to P. 5.1.117. The author of the 叠丑腻峁补 often says in his own words what he has understood from other systems. What is not rejected in the other systems must be understood as approved. Why have the other 膧肠腻谤测补蝉 not included a rule corresponding to this in their systems? It is because, according to them, the vati can come in these cases also by the previous 蝉奴迟谤补s, as in these cases also there can be comparison by artificially postulating difference.]
