Commentary

[Elsewhere also, due to proximity or association, things get the name of others. For example, in the morning libation (±è°ùÄå³Ù²¹á¸¥s²¹±¹²¹²Ô²¹) five oblations are offered, namely purodÄÅ›a = ‘sacrificial cakeâ€, »å³óÄå²Ô²¹á¸ = “fried rice or barleyâ€, karambha = ‘g°ù³Ü±ð±ô,â€ parivÄpa = ‘coagulated milkâ€ and payasya = ‘curds.â€ They are called the five ±è³Ü°ù´Çá¸ÄÅ›as because of association with the first one which is ±è³Ü°ù´Çá¸ÄÅ›a.
