The English translation of the Sri Bhakti-rasamrta-sindhu verse 2.1.109; a medieval era Sanskrit book, written by Rupa Goswami (fl. 15th century) which represents a devotional (bhakti) masterpiece. In this work Goswami describes the nature and different forms of pure love (rasa) as well as various other topics on Vaishnavism and devotion.

यथ� �
निर्वेदम� आप � वन-भ्रमणे मुरारिर्
नाचिन्तयद् व्यसनम� ऋक्ष-विलप्रवेशे �
आहृत्य हन्त मणिम� एव पुरं प्रपेद�
स्याद् उद्यमः कृ�-धिया� हि फलोदयान्तः ॥२.�.१०८॥yathā �
nirvedam āpa na vana-bhramaṇe murārir
nācintayad vyasanam ṛkṣa-vilapraveśe |
ṛtⲹ hanta maṇim eva ܰ� prapede
syād udyama� kṛta-dhiyā� hi phalodayānta� ||2.1.108||

“कृष्ण दिद् नोत् लोअथ� wअन्देरिन्ग� इन� थे fओरेस्त� लोओकिन्ग� fओर� थे श्यमन्तक जेwएल�, अन्द� दिद् नोत् चोन्सिदेर् fएअर् ओन� एन्तेरिन्ग� थे चव� ओf जाम्बवान�. तकिन्ग� थे जेwएल�, हे रेतुर्नेद् तो द्वारक�. थोसे ओf स्तेअद्य� इन्तेल्लिगेन्च� पेर्सेवेरे इन� थेइर� wओर्क� उन्तिल� अत्तैनिन्ग� थे रेसुल्त्.�
(२४) दान्तः �
� दान्तो दुःसहम� अप� योग्यं क्लेशः सहेत यः ॥२.�.१०९॥�ṛṣṇa did not loathe wandering in the forest looking for the Śyamantaka jewel, and did not consider fear on entering the cave of 峾. Taking the jewel, He returned to ٱ. Those of steady intelligence persevere in their work until attaining the result.�

English translation
(24) Գٲ�: patient �
“A person who endures difficult but necessary suffering is called patient.�
