atrāsīn nanda-sadmeti kalayantu dharām imām |
athainām anupaśyantu bhāvi govinda-kīrtanam ||

This is an example (a local ʲṇḍ guides the spiritual tourists[1]):

Nanda’s residence was here. They would shape this earth. They should envision it as the upcoming song festival about Govinda.

atra pūrvārdhe bhūtasya, parārdhe tu bhāvino darśanam.

In the first half, a past thing is envisioned. In the second half, a future thing is envisioned.

Commentary:

The above verse does not illustrate 屹첹 because there is no description of the visualization. This is Mammaṭa’s example:

āsīd añjanam atreti paśyāmi tava locane |
bhāvi-bhūṣaṇa-sambhārā� sākṣāt-kurve tavākṛtim ||

“I behold your eyes and see the eyeliner that was there. I see your body and directly perceive the ornaments that are yet to adorn it.� (屹ⲹ-ś, verse 500)

In this verse, an object of the past (in the first sentence) and an object of the future (in the second sentence) are represented as if they were present before the eyes.
