माला-रूपा यथ�,
-rūpā yathā,
This illustrates a serial Ծ岹ś,
sa پīṣaپ pāthodhi� pāṇinendu� ᾱṛkṣaپ |
pidhitsati ravi� yas te kṛṣṇeyattā� īṣaپ ||
�—h; پīṣaپ—he desires to cross; ٳ-—the ocean; ṇi—with the hand; indum—the moon; ᾱṛkṣaپ—he desires to take; pidhitsati—he desires to cover; ravim—the sun; ⲹ�—w; te—Ydzܰ; ṛṣṇa—O Kṛṣṇa; ⲹ-峾—the state of being this much; īṣaپ—he desires to do.
O Kṛṣṇa, whoever wants to be like You desires to cross the ocean, take the moon with the hand, and cover up the sun.
Commentary:
dorbhyā� پīṣaپ taraṅgavatī-bhujaṅgam ādātum icchati kare hariṇāṅka-bimbam |
meru� lilaṅghayiṣati dhruvam eṣa deva yas te guṇān gaditum udyamam ādadhāti ||“O Lord, a person who attempts to endeavor to describe your qualities desires to cross the ocean with his arms, to take the moon with the hand, and to jump over mount Meru� (屹ⲹ-ś verse 437).
