[This verse and the next illustrate hetu ܳٱṣ, imagining a cause:]

ś峾 첹ṭākṣa-nikṣepād gopīnā ūԲ ܳٲ |
DZⲹ pītāṃśuka- pītimāna dhruva 岹 ||

ś峾—d쾱; 첹ṭākṣa—sDzԲ glances; Ծṣe—because of casting (their eyes have eyeliner); DZī峾—done by the cowherd girls; ūԲ—indeed (a term expressive of ܳٱṣ); ܳٲAcyuta; DZⲹ—the cowherd girls; īٲyellow; ṃśu첹—on the garment; —because of meditating; īپԲЯǷɲԱ; dhruvam—certainly (a term expressive of ܳٱṣ); 岹—aܳ.

Indeed, Acyuta is darkish because the DZī cast sidelong glances. For sure, the DZī assumed a yellowish color because they meditated on His yellow garment.

Commentary:

The verse features two hetu ܳٱṣās: the two clauses which begin with “because. The first ܳٱṣ is expressed with the word ūԲ (indeed) and the second one with the word dhruvam (for sure). All the words expressive of an ܳٱṣ are stated ahead (10.37 ṛtپ).
