श॒तं मे॒षान्वृ॒क्ये� चक्षदा॒नमृ॒ज्राश्वं॒ तं पि॒तान्ध� च॑का� � तस्मा॑ अ॒क्षी ना॑सत्या वि॒चक्ष॒ आध॑त्त� दस्र� भिषजावन॒र्वन� �
शत� मेषान्वृक्ये चक्षदानमृज्राश्व� तं पितान्धं चकार � तस्म� अक्षी नासत्य� विचक्ष आधत्तं दस्र� भिषजावनर्वन् �

English translation:

“When his father caused,Ṛjrāśvā, as he was giving to a she-wolf a hundred sheep cut up in pieces, to become blind, you, Dasras, physicians (of the gods), gave him eyes (that had been) unable to find their way, with which he might see.�

Commentary by Sāyaṇa: Ṛgveda-bhāṣya

Ṛjś was one of the sons of ṛṣ岵; a she-wolf: ṛk was one of the asses of the śԲ in disguise, to test his charitable disposition; but, as he exacted the sheep from the people, his father was angry, and caused him to lose his eyesight, which the śԲ restored to him
