g峁沨amedhi峁 c膩nye峁 dvije峁 vanav膩si峁 || 27 ||He shall receive alms just enough for subsistence, only from br膩hma峁嘺-hermits, or from such twice-born householders as live in the forests.鈥�(27).
Medh膩tithi鈥檚 commentary (manubh膩峁a):
The Locative ending in 鈥�迟腻辫补蝉别峁鈥� &c. has the sense of the Ablative; meaning 鈥榝rom hermits鈥欌�斺��he shall receive alms鈥�,鈥攊n the event of his being unable to obtain fruits and roots;鈥斺��or from such householders as live in the forests鈥�.
鈥�Enough for subsistence鈥�;鈥攚hat is just sufficient to satisfy his hunger.鈥�(27).
