sav膩s膩 jalam膩plutya sadya eva vi艣udhyati || 77 ||In the event of a child, resident in a foreign country, who is a non-sapi峁囜笉a relation, dying,鈥攐ne becomes pure immediately, by plunging into water wth his clothes on.鈥�(77).
Medh膩tithi鈥檚 commentary (尘补苍耻产丑腻峁补):
鈥�Child鈥欌赌�i.e., a son that has not yet teethed;鈥斺��resident in a foreign country鈥欌赌�who is a non-sapi峁囜笉a relation鈥欌赌斺��dying鈥�,鈥攁ll these terms are in apposition.
鈥�狈辞苍-厂补辫颈峁囜笉补鈥欌赌�i.e., 厂补尘腻苍辞诲补办补.
When such a person dies while residing in a foreign country, the purification is 鈥榠mmediate.鈥�
When such a person dies near at hand, then the purification comes sifter 鈥榯hree days鈥欌赌攁s declared in verse 63 above鈥�(77).

This verse is quoted in 础辫补谤腻谤办补 (p. 905), which notes that 鈥�诲别艣腻苍迟补谤补蝉迟丑补,鈥� 鈥榠n a distant country,鈥� qualifies both the 鈥�产腻濒补鈥� and the 鈥�补蝉补辫颈峁囜笉补鈥�;鈥攁gain on p. 909, where the 鈥�辫峁泃丑补办辫颈峁囜笉补鈥� is explained as the 鈥榥on-sapi峁囜笉a and the 鈥�产腻濒补鈥� as 鈥榦ne whose naming has not been done鈥�;鈥攊n 贬腻谤补濒补迟腻 (p. 33), which explains 鈥�诲别艣腻苍迟补谤补蝉迟丑补鈥� etc., to mean that 鈥榦n hearing of the death of a 厂补辫颈峁囜笉补 after the lapse of ten days, those for whom the normal period of impurity is one day only, becomes purified immediately, by bathing only;鈥攁nd in 顿腻苍补办谤颈测腻办补耻尘耻诲墨 (p. 25).

Comparative notes by various authors
