On the death of a fellow-student, the impurity has been declared to last for one day. In the case of a birth, the purity of the 鈥楽am膩nopaka鈥� relations is held to come after three pays.鈥�(70)

鈥�Fellow-student鈥欌�攑rofessing the same Vedic Rescension.

鈥�厂补尘腻苍辞诲补办补 relations;鈥欌�攖hose meant here are to be counted from the point where the 鈥楽api峁囜笉a-relationship鈥� censes Among these, when then is a birth, the impurity lasts for three days.

The option of 鈥榠mmediate purity鈥� is also laid down in another Sm峁泃i-text, for 鈥�厂补尘腻苍辞诲补办补鈥� relations.鈥�(70)

This verse is quoted in 狈颈迟测腻肠腻谤补辫谤补诲墨辫补 (p. 131);鈥攊n 贬腻谤补濒补迟腻 (p. 76), which explains 鈥�ekodaka鈥� as 蝉补尘腻苍辞诲补办补;鈥攁nd in 艢耻诲诲丑颈尘补测奴办丑补 (p. 37).
