3. Then 笔谤补箩腻辫补迟颈 worshipped these three Vedas. And from those Vedas that were worshipped he extracted the essence. From the 峁歡 Veda he got 鈥榖h奴岣�,鈥� from the Yajur Veda he got 鈥榖huva岣�,鈥� and from the 厂腻尘补 Veda he got 鈥榮va岣モ��.
Word-for-word explanation:
Sa岣� et膩m tray墨m vidy膩m abhyatapat, [then] he worshipped the knowledge from these three; tasya岣� tapyam膩n膩y膩岣�, from these that he worshipped; ras膩n pr膩v峁沨at, he extracted the essence; bh奴岣� iti 峁沢bhya岣�, 鈥榖h奴岣モ�� from the 峁歡 Veda; bhuva岣� iti yajurbhya岣�, 鈥榖huva岣モ�� from the Yajur Veda; sva岣� iti s膩mabhya岣�, 鈥榮va岣モ�� from the 厂腻尘补 Veda.
