श्री-भगवान् उवाच�
स्वागत� स्वागत� वत्स दिष्ट्या दिष्ट्या भवान� मय� �
सङ्गोऽत्� त्वद�-ईक्षायां चिरम� उत्कण्ठिते� हि � ८१ �śī- ܱ峦�
svāgata� svāgata� vatsa diṣṭyā diṣṭyā |
saṅgo'tra tvad-īkṣāyā� ciram ٰܳ첹ṇṭٱԲ hi || 81 ||śī-–the Lord; ܱ峦–s; svāgatam svāgatam–a hearty welcome; vatsa–O my child; diṣṭyā diṣṭyā–by very good fortune; –ydz; –with Me; ṅg�–mپԲ; atra–h; ٱīṣ峾–for your sight; ciram–for a long time; ٰܳ첹ṇṭٱԲ–with eager longing; hi–iԻ.
Śī said: Dear boy, welcome, welcome! It is My good fortune, My very good fortune. For a long, long time I have been eagerly waiting to see you here.

Śī Gopa-ܳ says, “Ś� , the crest jewel of the kind-hearted, desiring to put me at ease, honored me according to the proper etiquette for greeting a guest, saying, ‘My dearest, welcome, welcome!� Out of happiness, repeated His greeting twice. ‘I have been eagerly awaiting your arrival for a long time. It is a matter of great fortune that today I am seeing you face to face here in ղṇṭ.’�
