The Brihad-bhagavatamrita Verse 2.2.233, English translation, including commentary (Dig-darshini-tika): an important Vaishnava text dealing with the importance of devotional service. इत्थम् उद्विग्न-चित्तं मा� भगवान् � कृपाकर� �
सर्वान्तर् आत्म-वृत्ति-ज्ञः समादिशद् इद� स्वयम् � २३� �ittham udvigna-citta� mā� sa kṛpākara� |
sarvāntar ٳ-ṛtپ-ñ� samādiśad ida� svayam || 233 ||ittham–tܲ; udvigna–aٲٱ; cittam–at heart; 峾–to me; –the Lord; �–H; ṛp-첹�–merciful, a mine of compassion; -Գٲ�–within all beings; ٳ-ṛtپ–the workings of the minds; ñ�–kԴǷɾԲ; 徱ś–He instructed; idam–t; svayamDzԲ.
Thinking thus, I became very perturbed. However, , the indwelling Supersoul of all the living beings, knows what takes place in everyone’s heart. Out of mercy, He personally instructed me.

Śī Gopa-ܳ says, “In this way, even though I was very eager to go to the land of Vraja in the district of Śī Ѳٳܰ, the idea of abandoning Śī ’s association made me very disturbed. However, Śī Ѳ-ܰṣa, the presiding Deity of Brahmaloka, knows the internal feelings of all living beings. Thus, He personally instructed me, speaking directly to me with His own divine mouth.�
