۲ś첹ī (यशस्करी) is another name for ṛhīԳī, a medicinal plant similar to īԳī which is identified with Leptadenia reticulata (cork swallow-wort) from the Apocynaceae, or “dogbane family� of flowering plants, according to verse 3.40-41 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The third chapter (ḍūc徱-) of this book contains climbers and creepers (īܻ). Together with the names ۲ś첹ī and ṛhīԳī, there are a total of eight Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
