: Shodhganga: a concise history of Sanskrit Chanda literature (history)Vyāghreravāla (व्याघ्रेरवाल) is the family-name of Āś (1178-1243 C.E.), the famous Jain author who contributed to Sanskrit prosody through his text entitled Vṛttaprakāśa. Āś was born to Sallakṣaṇa and Śrītatnī at the fort town called Maṇḍalakara in the Vyāghreravāla Vaiśya family.
