Such words are looked upon, and are treated as indeclinables e.g. शनैः, चिरे�, अस्त�, �, � (śԲ�, ṇa, asti, u, e) etc.; cf. the usual expressions तिडन्तप्रतिरूपकमव्ययम् (پḍaԳٲپū貹첹ⲹⲹ) etc. cf. विभक्तिस्वरप्र-तिरूपकाश्च निपाता भवन्ति (vibhaktisvarapra-tirūpakāśca nipātā bhavanti) M.
