: archive.org: Catalogue of Pancaratra Agama Texts (vastu)痴补苍补测腻驳补辫补峁璦濒补 (啶掂え啶ぞ啶椸お啶熰げ) (lit., 鈥渟ection concerning rites done outside鈥�) is the name of chapter 16 of the 膧dik膩峁囜笉a of the 贬补测补艣墨谤峁蝉补峁僪颈迟腻: a large P膩帽car膩tra 膧gama consisting of roughly 6500 verses dealing primarily with architecture, temple-building and consecration rituals and iconography.
Description of the chapter [惫补苍补测腻驳补辫补峁璦濒补]: When stones are to be collected, it is to be preceded by a particular ritual performed (in a forest?). Auspicious days for the commencement of this rite are suggested (1-2a). The rites are to be preceded by a 苍补谤补蝉颈峁僪补辫奴箩腻 and other preliminaries (25-10) whereupon, in the forest (or wherever the stone is to be quarried?) homa and sprinkling the rock with water and other rituals are done to the rock previously selected. Narasi峁僪a is invoked while lingering spirits are asked to leave, and after a night of fasting and sleep the 膧c膩rya with the 艢ilpins takes the stone-cutting instruments and goes to the stone-bed selected. Facing either North or East the 艢ilpin then cuts out a generous piece (II-44). Similarly, when wood is going to be used, it also deserves to be done with all rituals observed. The wood or stone is carried back to the site of the temple and there, north of the 辫谤腻蝉腻诲补, it is put in a workroom, and fashioning of it is begun (45-50).
