Theravada (major branch of Buddhism)
: Pali Kanon: Pali Proper Namesor Vaccavacaka. A grammatical treatise by Dhammadassi of Pagan (Sas., p.75; Bode, op. cit., 22, and n. 6). There are several commentaries on it, the best known being by Saddhammanandi. Others are called Vaccavacakavannana, Vacavacakarika and Vaccavacakadipani.
Therav膩da is a major branch of Buddhism having the the Pali canon (tipitaka) as their canonical literature, which includes the vinaya-pitaka (monastic rules), the sutta-pitaka (Buddhist sermons) and the abhidhamma-pitaka (philosophy and psychology).
