PratihartÄ was the son of Parameį¹£į¹hÄ«, whose ancestral lineage can be traced to SvÄyambhuva Manu, who was created by BrahmÄ, who was in turn created by NÄrÄyaį¹a, the unknowable all-pervasive primordial being. ±«²Ō²Ō±š³ŁÄå had a son named AbhÄva.
