Source: Wisdom Library: Bhagavata Purana岵ܻ (उद्ग्रायुध):—Son of Nīpa (son of Kṛtī, who was the son of Sannatimān). He had a son called Kṣemya. (see Bhāgavata Purāṇa 9.21.28-29)

The Purana (पुरा�, purāṇas) refers to Sanskrit literature preserving ancient India’s vast cultural history, including historical legends, religious ceremonies, various arts and sciences. The eighteen mahapuranas total over 400,000 shlokas (metrical couplets) and date to at least several centuries BCE.
