: academia.edu: The Structure and Meanings of the Heruka Ma畊畍ala意温庄鉛朝 (爐む爐迦) or Tailin朝 is the name of a 畍kin朝 who, together with the V朝ra (hero) named Taila forms one of the 36 pairs situated in the 赫顎畊a界温一姻温, according to the 10th century 畍k偵姻畊a厩温 chapter 15. Accordingly, the 乙顎畊a界温一姻温 refers to one of the four divisions of the 壊温鞄温逮温-沿顎畊a (innate layer�), situated within the padma (lotus) in the middle of the 堰艶姻顎一温馨温畊畍温鉛温. The 36 pairs of 畍kin朝s [viz., 意温庄鉛朝] and V朝ras are whitish red in color; they each have one face and four arms; they hold a skull bowl, a skull staff, a small drum, and a knife.
