: academia.edu: Tessitori Collection ISudharmaruci (सुधर्मरुचि) possibly refers to the author of the Āṣāḍūپ ( dealing with the lives of Jain teachers.—The Āṣāḍūپ (in Gujarati) is included in the collection of manuscripts at the ‘Vincenzo Joppi� library, collected by Luigi Pio Tessitori during his visit to Rajasthan between 1914 and 1919.—The author always introduces himself as a ‘disciple of Śubhavardhana�, without giving his own name. JgK gives ‘Sudharmaruci?�. The name Dharmaruci is found at the end, but it refers to the religious teacher of the main character—except if we assume that there is a pun.
