: archive.org: Ceylon Branch of the Royal Asiatic Society 1963Sa峁単amu or Sa峁単amuvih膩ra is the name of an ancient locality that existed in the Polonnaruva (Polonnaruwa) district of Ceylon (Sri Lanka).鈥擺... see 惭补峁囜笉补濒补驳颈谤颈办补... ] The C奴lava峁僺a states that the 12th century treaty between Gajab膩hu II and Parakkamab膩hu was engraved on a natural rock at Ma峁囜笉al墨giri-vih膩ra: this epigraph has not yet been discovered but a copy of it has been found at Sa峁単amu-vih膩ra in Kurun膩gala district. Nissa峁卥a Malla visited Ma峁囜笉iligiri-vih膩ra. The ruins are now known as Madirigiriya-vih膩ra, a beautiful site 10 miles north-east of Mi峁囜箛eriya.
