: SOAS: A critical study of the thirteen later translations of the Dzogchen mind seriesrig 'dzin tshe dbang nor bu (རིག་འཛིན་ཚེ་དབང་ནོར་བུ) [or simply rig 'dzin] refers to a particular edition of the rNying ma'i rgyud 'bum and contains a list of the Eighteen Texts (of the Mind Series).—T rig 'dzin is believed to have been produced in the late 18th century by followers of the lineage of Rig 'dzin Tshe dbang nor bu, in the border regions of southern Tibet and Nepal. It is very close in structure and content to the gTing skyes edition. Both editions belong to what has been dubbed the Southern Central Tibetan tradition of rNying ma rgyud 'bum transmission.

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (Բ) are collected indepently.
