: OpenEdition books: վīٳ첹貹� (History)Qutlugh Khān (= Kutulakhāna) is governor of the city (Daulatabād), as mentioned in the վīٳ첹貹 by Jinaprabhasūri (13th century A.D.): an ancient text devoted to various Jaina holy places (īٳ).—Kutulakhāna, governor of the city (Daulatabād), informs Jinaprabha that a firman from pātasāhi (Muḥammad bīn Tughluq) has arrived for him.—Note: During the reign of Muḥammad bīn Tughluq, Qutlugh Khān received the charge of the land of Maharashtra: cf. p. ex. Ziyā-ad-dīn Barnī in Elliot & Dowson 1964 ( 1 1871) III p. 244.
