There are seven such mountain ranges (or, 惫补谤峁诲丑补谤补辫补谤惫补迟补蝉) located in 闯补尘产奴诲惫墨辫补 according to Jaina cosmology. 惭补丑腻辫耻峁囜笉补谤墨办补 has at its centre a large padmahrada (lotus-island), which is home to the Goddess Buddhi. 闯补尘产奴诲惫墨辫补 sits at the centre of madhyaloka (鈥榤iddle world鈥�) and is the most important of all continents and it is here where human beings reside.

Moreover, here are (the goddesses) 艢r墨, Hr墨, Dh峁泃i, K墨rti, Buddhi, and Lak峁墨 respectively, with life-periods of a palya, together with S膩m膩nikas, gods of the councils, bodyguards, and armies鈥�.

There is a giant lotus (辫耻峁补谤补) in the centre of the lakes (e.g., 惭补丑腻辫耻峁囜笉补谤墨办补). In these lotuses live the nymphs (e.g., Buddhi, 鈥榳isdom鈥� for the 惭补丑腻辫耻峁囜笉补谤墨办补 lake), whose lifetime is one pit-measured period (playa) and who live with S膩m膩nikas (co-chiefs) and P膩ri峁das (counsellors). A 蝉腻尘腻苍颈办补 is a deity who is equal to Indra in life-span, power and enjoyment but lack grandeur. The 辫腻谤颈峁诲补蝉 (counsellors) are friendly deities who are members of Indra鈥檚 council.
闯补尘产奴诲惫墨辫补 (where lies the 惭补丑腻辫耻峁囜笉补谤墨办补 lake) is in the centre of all continents and oceans; all continents and oceans are concentric circles with 闯补尘产奴诲惫墨辫补 in the centre. Like the navel is in the centre of the body, 闯补尘产奴诲惫墨辫补 is in the centre of all continents and oceans. Sumeru Mount is in the centre of 闯补尘产奴诲惫墨辫补. It is also called Mount Sudar艣ana.
