: archive.org: Bulletin of the French School of the Far East (volume 5)Lomadanta (啶侧啶う啶ㄠ啶�) [=濒辞尘补诲补苍迟腻?] is the name of a Goddess appointed as one of the Divine protector deities of 鲍箩箩补测颈苍墨, according to chapter 17 of the Candragarbha: the 55th section of the Mah膩sa峁僴ip膩ta-s奴tra, a large compilation of S奴tras (texts) in Mah膩y膩na Buddhism partly available in Sanskrit, Tibetan and Chinese.鈥擨n the Candragarbhas奴tra, the Bhagavat invites all classes of Gods and Deities to protect the Law [dharma?] and the faithful in their respective kingdoms of Jambudv墨pa [e.g., the Goddess Lomadanta in 鲍箩箩补测颈苍墨], resembling the time of the past Buddhas.
