: Shodhganga: Kasyapa Samhita鈥擳ext on Visha Chikitsa (p)Linguistic occultism is denoted by the Sanskrit term Mantra-艢膩stra and represents one of the principal topics of the P膩帽car膩tra division of the Vai峁ａ箛ava 膧gamas.鈥擳he almighty Hari, out of compassion for mankind in general, felt that the Vedas and 艢膩stras could not be easily grasped and practised by people belonging the diverse communities and cadres, whose potential and comprehension would vary vastly. Hence, he promulgated the P膩帽car膩tra doctrine [teaching for example mantra-艣膩stra鈥攍inguistic occultism] which is the essence of the Vedas, in a simplified form.
Pancaratra (啶ぞ啶炧啶氞ぐ啶距い啷嵿ぐ, p膩帽car膩tra) represents a tradition of Hinduism where Narayana is revered and worshipped. Closeley related to Vaishnavism, the Pancaratra literature includes various Agamas and tantras incorporating many Vaishnava philosophies.
