In Hinduism
Shaktism (Shakta philosophy)
: Google Books: Manthanabhairavatantramܲᾱ峾ṇḍ (कुब्जिकामण्ड) refers to the Saṃvartāmaṇḍala.—Saṃvartā is the fire that consumes the worlds at the end of a cosmic age and supplies the energy that sustains them in their period of persistence. This female Fire is one of the identities of the goddess Kubjikā. So Saṃvartāmaṇḍala effectively means ܲᾱ峾ṇḍ, which would be an apt name for it although, in fact, it never occurs in our texts.

Shakta (शाक्, śākta) or Shaktism (śāktism) represents a tradition of Hinduism where the Goddess (Devi) is revered and worshipped. Shakta literature includes a range of scriptures, including various Agamas and Tantras, although its roots may be traced back to the Vedas.
