: WorldCat: Rāj nighaṇṭuٱԻ (जितेन्द्रियाह्�) is another name for 峾ṛd, a medicinal plant possibly identified with Blepharis edulis Linn. or “uttanjan� from the Acanthaceae or “acanthus� family of flowering plants, according to verse 4.196-197 of the 13th-century Raj Nighantu or Rājanighaṇṭu. The fourth chapter (ś徱-) of this book enumerates eighty varieties of small plants (ṛt-ṣu貹). Together with the names ٱԻ and 峾ṛd, there are a total of thirteen Sanskrit synonyms identified for this plant.
