Իū岹ⲹ (इन्दूद�) refers to the “moon-rise�, according to the ŚⲹԾ첹-śٰ: a Sanskrit treatise dealing with the divisions and benefits of Hunting and Hawking, written by Rājā Rudradeva (or Candradeva) in possibly the 13th century.—Accordingly, “[...] Pure and unmixed enjoyment, unconnected with any of these, is nowhere to be found. The enjoyment of wearing good garlands, anointing with sandal-paste (candana) and eating choice food is said to be connected with them. Therefore, the spring season, the rainy season, the moon-rise (Իū岹ⲹ), sandal-paste and so on, are sources of delight to those only who enjoy the company of their beloved, but are sources of annoyance to those who are separated from their sweethearts.
