: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason BirchThe Highest Power is known as Ku峁囜笉alin墨, and can be denoted in Sanskrit as [艣akti岣� ku峁囜笉alin墨 par膩], according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.鈥擜ccordingly, as 莫艣vara says to V膩madeva: 鈥淸...] [Now], I shall define the nature of that highest, mind-free absorption which arises for those devoted to constant practice. [...] By means of an absorption for half a Gha峁璱k膩 (i.e., one hundred and eighty breaths), the highest power [called] Ku峁囜笉alin墨 [艣akti岣� ku峁囜笉alin墨 par膩] is awake at the base [of the spine] as a result of stopping the mind and breath. By means of an absorption for the period of a Kal膩 (i.e., three hundred and sixty breaths), the power, [Ku峁囜笉alin墨,] certainly moves about. With the stopping of the breath (惫腻迟补谤辞诲丑补), it goes upwards through the back channel [called Su峁mn膩]. [...]鈥�.
