: OpenEdition books: վīٳ첹貹� (History)Havvasa (हव्व�) (malik) refers to a vassal of Allavadīna (cf. sv), as is mentioned in the վīٳ첹貹 by Jinaprabhasūri (13th century A.D.): an ancient text devoted to various Jaina holy places (īٳ).—Accordingly, “Coming from Vahaḍāicca, Havvasa broke (at Śravastī) the leaves of the surrounding wall and several images (of Jina)�.
Note: The mention of 'Alā-ad-dīn places the event between ca. 1296 and ca. 1316. Does Havvasa designate an Ahwaz whose name the chronicles do not retain?
