: archive.org: The Tibetan Book of the Dead (Graham Coleman)gsang dbang (གསང་དབ�) refers to the “the secret empowerment� and represents one of the �Four Empowerments� of the Unsurpassed Yoga Tantras (including Mahāyoga) which are also known in Sanskrit as ٳܰṣe첹.—The secret empowerment (gsang-dbang) purifies ordinary speech and its vital energy into the Buddha-body of Perfect Resource (Dzⲹ).

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (Բ) are collected indepently.
