: ORA: Amanaska (king of all yogas): A Critical Edition and Annotated Translation by Jason Birchṛṣṭiśṣa (दृष्टिविशे�) refers to the “different gazing points�, according to the Amanaska Yoga treatise dealing with meditation, absorption, yogic powers and liberation.—Accordingly, as Īśvara says to Vāmadeva: “[...] For one whose self-awakening has arisen, who is in every way detached and is always devoted to practice, this [adherence to sectarian emblems] is not useful anywhere. Then, the different gazing points (ṛṣṭiśṣa), the various other postures and states of mind are useless to the yogin. [...]�.
