Dhātugata (धातुगत) or Dhātugatajvara refers to “fevers affecting various Dhātu�, according to the հṣaᲹ-ʰ첹ṇa section of the Jvaranirṇaya: an Ayurvedic manuscript dealing exclusively with types of jvara (fevers) written by Sri Nārāyaṇa Paṇḍita in the 16th century CE.—The uniqueness of the text is that one can get a comprehensive classification, symptomatology and diagnosis of jvara, all at one place in this text. [...] The Tridoṣajaprakaraṇa section deals with types of ԲԾٲ which are mostly mentioned by Vāgbhaṭa. Apart from this, it also deals with fevers affecting various Dhātu (ٳܲٲ-ᱹ) and the strength/severity of each of them (). [...] Some other authors opine ṣīṇ-ṣa to be the cause for ٳܲٲٱ. Doṣa affecting particular ٳ like ٲ for asti; pitta affecting sveda, śDzԾٲ, majja, ṃs, rasa, meda; kapha affecting śܰ, oja, ūٰ and is mentioned. [...] It is mentioned that ‘some� classify the ٳܲٲ-ᱹ on the basis of ṅg which is saumya or īṣṇ.
