: Shodhganga: Elements of Art and Architecture in the Trtiyakhanda of the Visnudharmottarapurana (vastu)顿别惫补迟腻尘补峁囜笉补辫补 (啶︵啶掂い啶距ぎ啶｀啶∴お) refers to one of the four kinds of Ma峁囜笉apas (鈥減avilion鈥�) of the Hindu Temple, according to the Vi峁ａ箛udharmottarapur膩峁嘺, an ancient Sanskrit text which (being encyclopedic in nature) deals with a variety of cultural topics such as arts, architecture, music, grammar and astronomy.鈥擬a峁囜笉apa means the pavilion of a temple. The height of the 尘补峁囜笉补辫补 is fixed with nine t膩la according to the Mayamata. In the Suprabhed膩gama, four kinds of 尘补峁囜笉补辫补s are mentioned and devat膩尘补峁囜笉补辫补 is regarded as the first one. [...]
