: Pali Kanon: Pali Proper NamesA dwelling erected by Udaya I. (also probably called Dappula) in the Ambuyyana vihara (Cv.xlix.30). There is also mentioned a Dappulapabbata vihara begun by one Mahadeva in the time of King Dappula (perhaps Dappula II.), and completed by Sena I (Cv.l.80). There may have been two buildings of the same name. See Cv.Trs.i.126, n.1.
