Source: Wisdom Library: NÄá¹ya-Å›Ästra°ä±ðṣṾ±³¾²¹ (चेषà¥à¤Ÿà¤¿à¤�) refers to “moving objectâ€� and is one of the four types of pusta, or “modal workâ€�, according to NÄá¹yaÅ›Ästra chapter 23. Pusta represents one of the categories of nepathya, or “costumes and make-upâ€�, the perfection of which forms the main concern of the Ä€hÄryÄbhinaya, or “extraneous representationâ€�, a critical component for a successful dramatic play.
According to the NÄá¹yaÅ›Ästra, “that which can be made to move, is called a ‘moving objectâ€� (³¦±ðṣṾ±³¾²¹)â€�.
