Accordingly, â€�... then her [Anaá¹…gamañjarī’s] father [Anaá¹…godaya], thinking that it was a piece of supernatural enchantment, felt great doubt as to what steps he ought to take. So he went and asked an ascetic of the name of Brahmasoma, who possessed superhuman powers, and observed the rule of the PÄÅ›upatas, and who was a great friend of his, for his adviceâ€�.
The KathÄsaritsÄgara (‘ocean of streams of storyâ€�), mentioning Brahmasoma, is a famous Sanskrit epic story revolving around prince NaravÄhanadatta and his quest to become the emperor of the ±¹¾±»å²âÄå»å³ó²¹°ù²¹²õ (celestial beings).
