: What is India: Inscriptions of the ŚilāhārasBoppa is the name of a general (岹ṇḍⲹ첹) of king Vijaya (Vijayāditya), according to the “Khidrāpur stone inscription of the reign of Vijayāditya�. It describes the 岹ṇḍⲹ첹 (General) Boppa as a terror to the enemies of the King and the foremost among his warriors who were proficient in the destruction of his enemies.
This inscription (mentioing Boppa) is incised below a bracket figure on the outer wall of the temple of Koppeśvara at Khidrāpur, a village in the Shirol tālukā of the Kolhāpur District.
