Tibetan Buddhism (Vajrayana or tantric Buddhism)
: Rigpa Shedra: Wikiū (भूगर्भ) refers to the Eight Underground Abodes (in Tibetan: sa 'og gi gnas brgyad) which form part of the Twenty-four Great Sacred Places (Tibetan: gnas chen nyer bzhi) according to the Cakrasaṃvaratantra (Chakrasamvara Tantra). In the Nyingma tradition, Jigme Lingpa's Yumka Dechen Gyalmo has incorporated this enumeration. Furthermore, Jigme Lingpa says that “as regards these places, they are entirely present internally, within our own body.

Tibetan Buddhism includes schools such as Nyingma, Kadampa, Kagyu and Gelug. Their primary canon of literature is divided in two broad categories: The Kangyur, which consists of Buddha’s words, and the Tengyur, which includes commentaries from various sources. Esotericism and tantra techniques (Բ) are collected indepently.
