ūٳ (भ्रूस्�) refers to “that which is situated (between the) eyebrows�, according to the Śrīmatottara-tantra, an expansion of the Kubjikāmatatantra: the earliest popular and most authoritative Tantra of the Kubjikā cult.—Accordingly, “What is the other group of four? One should know that it is the progressive arising, externally and internally, of the sacred seats. In the (regular forward) order the sequence is O (Oḍḍiyāna) JĀ (Jālandhara) PŪ (Pūrṇagiri) KĀ (Kāmarūpa), and KĀ PŪ JĀ O in the reverse order [i.e., vyatikrama]. They are located (between the) eyebrows, in the cavity (of the mouth), in the throat and in heart [i.e., ūٳūԻ첹ṇṭ󲹳ṛtٳ�], respectively. Pervading one's own body, they are located in the Liṅga, Foundation, the Self-supported and the navel. They should be known to be within one’s own (subtle) body in the reverse order�.
