: Shodhganga: Elements of Art and Architecture in the Trtiyakhanda of the Visnudharmottarapurana (gita)础谤诲丑补蝉腻惫颈迟谤补 (啶呧ぐ啷嵿ぇ啶膏ぞ啶掂た啶む啶�) refers to one of the Forty-nine kinds of T膩nas (in Indian music), according to the Vi峁ａ箛udharmottarapur膩峁嘺, an ancient Sanskrit text which (being encyclopedic in nature) deals with a variety of cultural topics such as arts, architecture, music, grammar and astronomy.鈥擳膩na refers to 鈥渢hat which spreads鈥� (being dependent on 尘奴谤肠肠丑补苍腻), according to the N膩峁瓂a艣膩stra. In the Vi峁ａ箛udharmottarapur膩峁嘺, only forty nine kinds of 迟腻苍补蝉 are accepted under three gr膩mas viz., madhyama, 峁岣峧补 and 驳腻苍诲丑腻谤补. The 峁岣峧补gr膩ma contains twenty 迟腻苍补蝉 [e.g., 补谤诲丑补蝉腻惫颈迟谤补].
