ṣaԾܰپ (अक्षरनिरुक्त�) refers to the �(one who teaches other beings by means of) syllables and explanations of language�, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, “[...] Thus, son of good family, based on the information (ñپ) in conventional expressions () of others, I was fully awakened to such dharmas, but still, their essential characters are inexpressible in words. Even though the Bodhisattva, who wishes to grasp the dharmas, is fully awakened to dharmas with such an essential character, he still teaches other beings by means of syllables and explanations of language (ṣaԾܰپ)�.
