Besides the Dasasikkh膩padas, there is also a set of Dasa-S墨las.
Its constituents are:- 鈶�-鈶� the four precepts (excluding the 5th) and C鈶�D
abstinence from slander (pisu峁嚹乿膩c膩), 6 harsh speech (pharus膩v膩c膩), 鈶�
idle talk (samphappal膩pa), 鈶� covetousness (abhijj膩),
鈶� covetousness (abhijj膩),
鈽� malevolence
(vy膩p膩da), and 鈶� wrong views (micch膩di峁�峁環i).
Besides these, many other categories of Sila are referred to in the
Canon. The most well known among them is Catu-P膩risuddha-S墨la
constituting of P膩timokkhasamvara-Sila (restraint with regard to the
monks'
of
the
(restraint
disciplinary rules), Indriyasamvara-Sila
senses), 膧j墨vap膩risuddh- S墨la (purity with regard to one's livelihood), and
Paccayasannissita-Sila (morality with regard to five requisites).
